Communications

The Communications Department strives to keep parishioners and churches of the Heartland Presbytery informed and connected with each other and the presbytery office. The primary vehicles used include the presbytery website; the Heartland Connection , weekly email newsletters; various informational emails; the presbytery YouTube page and the presbytery Facebook page.

Deadlines for submission of information:

  • Heartland Connection: Submissions due on Thursdays for publication in the upcoming edition (published on Tuesdays).

  • Targeted Emails: Two days’ notice is appreciated.

  • Facebook (Posts and Events): Two days’ notice is appreciated.

  • Website: Two days’ notice is appreciated.

  • Printed Collateral (Flyers, Brochures, etc.): One week’s notice is appreciated.

Style Guide and Logo Usage

Heartland Presbytery has created a Style Guide that lists our policies regarding formatting of printed or digital content for our members. As stated in the Style Guide, the Communications Department of Heartland Presbytery will provide you with a high-resolution copy of the logo upon request. Simply contact adminassist@heartlandpby.org to request a logo, making sure to explain the usage so we know what will work best. Please do not copy the logo from the website or alter it in any way.
