The First Presbyterian Church of Independence is seeking a director of Music Ministry to provide leadership to our traditional worship team and collaborative support of contemporary worship teams. This will involve directing our Chancel choir in providing excellent worship experiences in our traditional services. It also involves supervising our Bell choir and working with our Children’s choir director during special times to enhance worship. Additionally, this person will work with our contemporary worship team leader to provide excellent worship experiences throughout our ministry. We are looking for a person with a passion for Christ, an appreciation for both of our traditional and contemporary music styles, and the background and skills needed to lead our music ministry and music ministry teams into the future.
